What can I do to my Clio to make it look better? (Noob)

Just got my first car the other day and I was wondering what are the do's and don'ts of making your car look good on a small budget?
Also my wheels are 14" and I want to take them up to at least 15", would this work?

RS Grille, plain number plates, Silver indicator bulbs, colour code the black plastics, lower it, some 15 or 16" alloys. A 172 rear bumper and cup spoiler would also really sharpen up the back end.

Personally I'd do what I did with my 1.2, which was nothing. I just saved up for a 172 instead which I got 2 years later. It was well worth it.
 
I would say stick some nice alloys on it (preferably Turini Speedlines :D), colour code the black plastic on the sides and bumpers, fit a spoiler from a 172/182 cup and if your budget stretches far enough lower it. Alternatively if insurance isn't an issue, sell it and buy a 172/182 :)

Thanks for the advice mate. Also insurance is a very big issue ;) I'm 17 :P
 
If you really feel you need to change bits.. Dynamique alloys, apex springs to lower it a bit (firm ride, but cheapest way) and an RS grill. Leave it at that... all reverable for when you went to sell and move onto your next car. Keep it clean and simple, and dont waste a load of money on it.

If you wanna do a few cheap mods:
RS grill - 60 off ebay. Will make front end look a lot better.
Civic type R Ariel - bout 10 off eBay. This is a smaller Ariel to replace the giant one.
Silver vision indicator bulbs 15 off eBay (don't get the cheap ones, get phillips) - These are silver indicator bulbs instead of orange. But Obvs still flash orange.

More expensive mods:
Either 15" Clio dynamique alloys or 16" Clio 172 alloys. 172 are same as dynamique ones, just an inch bigger. Bout 250 for 172 alloys. Not sure about dynamique ones.
Lower it - most would advise eibach sport lines - about 150. Or coil overs - about 350.

Dont get black roof and black mirrors...

Oh and aero wipers. Look and perform better.

or do what i did, dynamic alloys in black, g-max lowering springs makes it more responsive on the twisties that should get you noticed like mine :) also gloss black the side and bumper stripes to make it different to the others... :)
 
Find the modzzz you want.

Then put the money in a bank account that you can't access for at least 90 days.
