Not really imo. The interior on the 265 is updated a bit. I prefer the look of the facelift, but the xenon directional lights on the 250. Certain options are well worth having with cup pack being the sought after one. They are like a grown up clio with the extra power I always wanted. This is especially noticeable on track days. Consumables are pretty reasonable in line with running a Clio. My current one.....

I went from Clio Trophy to R26 Lux about 16 years ago. But now been in a Meg 275 for last 6. Great car. Really Rare and distinctive looking with wider arches.

I think next step would be to go Meg or if i can an E46 or 92

E92 are a nice price. Just budget for items as they are getting on a bit.

With the exhaust mod they sound amazing

I went Megane 265, but only for 6 months or so.. was better options as a 90% commuter car. Brilliant car though. Ended up going M135i which I still have 6 years later.

Interesting your list includes the Z4 Coupe. Back in 2007 I chopped in my immaculate and fantastic 18month old RB 182 Cup for a Z4C 3.0 - in an effort to explore some more ‘grown up’ motoring. The fact that now, nearly 20 years later, I’m back in hot Clio’s I think speaks for itself as to how that experiment played out… 😂

Had mk6 Golf GTI dsg (172 got stolen had it from new for 12 years) but the best thing I did getting the GTI didn’t miss the 172 at all after that.

Had 3 GTI Golf's since, best all round cars you can get imo.

I've got a 275cup, they are decent enough but still rattly, cheap made and suspension is firm, doesn't bother me but it's something you may not like
