What do people think of these??? Advice needed on fitment please

  182 track, Mk7 ST
I know they're VW fit but same as the clio as far as im aware as you can fit turbines between the different cars, I just wondered what they would fit like on my non cup 182, what with being 6J wide and all and with the offset being ET38 (from what i can tell from trawling through threads on here mine would be an ET45 offset, correct?).

Has any else got 15x6 wheels fitted on a 182 (along with pics if possible please) as i know most go for 15x7's in the like of 2118's etc but looking at these for now as they'ree cheap and if they fit and sit correctly i'll go for them :)

Obviously don't want them sitting too far in the arch which is my only concern.

Any help would be great and much appreciated, cheers,

I would stick to 15 x 7 to be honest.... you'll be reducing your tread contact patch too much.
They're 4 x 100, but I don't know what the golf bore size is? You may need spiggot rings.

also, with offset, the lower the number, the wider they sit. So you'll probably find that with the greater offset but narrower wheel, they'll fit about the same.

Ok, cheers, with the contact area it works out to be about 13-14% less i think give or take so not dramatically less but I can see exactly where you're coming from. Do you know if any others on here have run 6j wide wheels on 172/182s?

Golf bore size is 57.1, you'll need to bore them out.

Well they're a 2nd hand set and have been bored out already, are Clio hubs 60.1? Think that's what I've read somewhere but not sure?

Race wheel only, not road legal according to Demon Tweeks IIRC

Really?? I've never heard of race only wheels before that aren't street legal, do you know what about them causes this cos you can use other pro race wheels on the road with no probs, same with speedlines, compos, ultralites etc and as far as I'm aware they're all similar wheel types, aimed at motorsport use?

Cheers again for any help :)

Yep Clio bore is 60.1. I've seen them in dt catalogue and doesn't mention non road legal. Never heard of that myself tbh. I'd ring them an ask if I was you.

13 - 14% is a very substantial drop mate. I can't think of anyone that runs 6j on a Clio.... Not an RS anyway. I really would avoid them.
