I'm going to get some pop corn for this one.
I wouldn't bother I give up, it's my opinion and thinking I'm a c**t ain't gunna change it

Experience doesn't mean sh!t it's simple physics, you only have so much grip on a fwd car so a big engine is pointless.
If you think your 1*2 is good try a real car with RWD you'll be surprised
Hmmm let me call up all the F1 teams and tell them they need FWD cars as RWD is a waste of time apparently

ollyc90 you dont own one, you probably never driven one, the closest you got to one is this site....yet you seem to know how they handle :S
Read some reviews from people that know what they're talking about

Its relatively light weight and the Michelin tyres mean this Clio changes direction better than any front-wheel-drive car I've ever driven. It adopts that super-aggressive, tarmac- rally-car, flat-cornering patter - body roll is virtually non-existent.
The brakes have a feel and ability that teaches every other manufacturer, bar Porsche, a lesson in how to stop a car. I had the pads on fire, literally, and yet the brakes refused to fade.
The speed the 182 can carry into a corner is simply phenomenal for a road car, but the ability to drive at this level comes at a price; any driver error now happens at higher velocities than before. It's not that the Clio wants to bite you, it's just that it doesn't suffer fools and you can't feed it mixed messages - once you're committed to a corner, it's best you stay committed.
Despite that slight caveat, Renault has created a driving tool that's everything we all wanted the Peugeot 206 GTI 180 to be. If you're building a hot hatch, this is the new benchmark. Ford and Vauxhall, don't say you haven't been warned! Renault is the new king of asphalt.
In fact, so good is the Clio 182 with the Cup chassis set-up that I feel moved to make a bold statement - I think it's the best hot hatch ever built.

Renaultsport has widened the track and revised the suspension. Seen here is the optional £200 Cup package, which includes specialist tyres, a 3mm drop in ride height, and adds even more rigidity to the springs and dampers. The result is fantastic. Attack a series of bends and the eager nose dives for the apex of every corner, providing massive grip and fantastic feedback.
I own one i think i should know how they handle, they dont handle crap.
Compared to what? They handle fantastically compared to a bus. It's all relative
Jesus! whats your problem, iv driven the vxr corsa...terrible if you gun it of the line torque steers like mad, focus st from reviews torque steers like man. Astra VXR you take your hand of the steering wheel you can go left all day long on full power...iv never come across this in my 172 or the 182's i test drove the reviews on the 197/200 show its got brilliant handling during power and corners compared to other small hot hatches.
Yes RWD cars are mint but there a different type of car.
You're closer to my point than everyone else, these sort of cars tend to handle badly.
I had no idea the clios were that much better.
However, just cos they are the best FWD cars doesn't mean they are all that amazing
Big engines, why have a 2.0 in a hot hatch. 'Look at me in my FWD car, I can't put any power down and I understeer like a b**ch' yeah very good, thanks renault.
Rear engine is good though

Damn, we got shown by a 17 year old.
i think what hes trying to say is...
"i wish i had a 182 not a 1.4"
Learn to count, c**t
Bet all you FWD owners are gutted at Olly's revelation that your cars are crap. And there was me thinking they were cracking, affordable cars perfect for the open road or track
1.4 RT's
people that put big exhausts on A 1.2 OR 1.4 and make them loud and put a spark plug in to make them pop pointless
rear wheel i have had 1 and can say slide every where when put power down so can spin out in front wheel it doesnt so away you goExperience doesn't mean sh!t it's simple physics, you only have so much grip on a fwd car so a big engine is pointless.
If you think your 1*2 is good try a real car with RWD you'll be suprised
as they rev car adn have a switch inside turn on and makes teh spark plug spark when reving and makes a flame or pop in the exhaustWhat are these spark plugs?
Ive got a mate who owns a 1.2 sxi corsa with a big back box and big wheels (no lowering though so its very 4x4) and he thinks its the best car in the world, i could get him to buy them if they pop lol.
Would make me chuckle everytime i heard it
Edit: Oh you mean a plug in the exhaust, how does that work then?
Hahaas they rev car adn have a switch inside turn on and makes teh spark plug spark when reving and makes a flame or pop in the exhaust
