What do you consider to be the best looks/handling suspension?

thats right, its not a ford, well done.

and looks dont so much come into it, as long as it doesnt have a 4x4 type stance. function over form in 99% of applications, clios like most cars handle at their best with 15mm front rake

strange how your vmaxx are so soft as i went from 182 cup suspension to the vmaxx and found while the vmaxx still have a fair amount of roll certainly nothing like the standard cup suspension. but obviously could be an issue going low with roll but so far iv had no problems except a knocking from the rear. you must have a dodgy set tbh as i thought mine where spot on. certainly better than standard im going to go down the route of a rear arb and front strut brace with solid mounts i think that should compliment the fact that the vmaxx has a fair bit of roll and should stiffen it up just that little bit more. i hope you find a nice setup that your happy with anyway mate. i do realise since i got these coilovers that maybe being on a budget should have stayed clear of a spring upgrade but then again i cant compare as i have never been in a clio with just a spring upgrade.

Mine is also on Koni adjustables.. Is brilliant on the road (I do about 25k a year) and also very good on trackdays would not hesitate to reccommend them at all!

I'm going to be putting brand new 172 cup shocks all round with sportlines on my ph1 hopefully there will be an improvement. I was going to go for the Koni's but feck paying 500 odd quid.

There is nothing wrong with my v maxx, they are fine, I have had enough cars on different suspension set ups and coilovers to know what works well and what doesn't. V maxx are too soft for fast road / track driving, there is more then me that has this opinion I'm afraid. The ride from them isn't bad below 50mph, anything above 50 mph and the slightest bump will fire you up to to the air. The main problem I have is when cornering hard. Far too soft = mucho rubbage.

This sort of set up is something I am interested in. Have you any pictures of how your car sits? And what is your opinion on the handling?

This sort of set up must be one of the best for a car that's still used on brittish roads ?

I think it handles very well, tight and precise while firm (but comfortable) still soaking up bumps without being crashy or bottoming out. (i also have powerflex wishbone bushes)

Thanks turbo tom, that sits perfect IMO. Not too low but not on stilts either. Thank you for your opinion bud, it sounds like the ideal set up for me until the car is taken off the road and purely used for track.
