For someone who is a graphic designer the typography is horrible

Its a highly competitive market and i would be surprised if you got jobs out of that, sorry not being harsh but exactly is your training to be called a designer?

You need to copyright better, "Full general advertisement" that is not logos and business cards, in fact what is it? specialising (there is no z is specialize btw) in Photoshop is not really the way forward to being a graphic designer, i hardly use the thing and i work on 25 + project a time, that's another thing, don't say you work on one thing at a time, bad move.

Please dont say you specialise in branding, branding is the cream of the design world and it takes years to get anywhere in it, there are a handfull of agencies around the UK if not the word that make it work.

my bad then, just bad experiences in the industry i guess, not saying you are like this but it gets frustrating when we get new clients and they say s**t like:

"oh another designer did it in a day for a quarter of the price"

sure they did but it doesn't make it right does it

Dude, you might think these guys are being harsh but its for your own good.

Steve, Rich and Welsh are all designers. Its a very competitive industry and not something you can pick up overnight and start making a living or Id have been doing it ages ago! lol

i play about on ps in my own time alot and thought hey y not see what i can do since im unemployed atm an have all this free time, thought might as well b productive n make a website n see what happens, no loss if nothing doesn't. that was all i was wanting to do.

I don't have a problem with you as such. It's just that it's such a huge mistake to call yourself a graphic designer, just because you've downloaded Photoshop!

If you want to get into graphic design, check out a course at a local college maybe, or study it online.

I'd really suggest dropping the website for the time being. Work on you own logo, design a leaflet with info/services and prices on, and then hit some local companies with design services.

Once you have enough evidence of work, THEN setup a quick website.

I only aksed what your full time job was as being a designer myself, i knew it wasn't your trade. Can't be easy at the moment, and at least you want to do something else, but it maybe isn't the best option at this time.
