what engine bits can i sell?

Hi there,

If i was changing my car engine are there any bits off it i could keep from the scrappy to sell on (provided they were the non broken bits of course). I.e: inlet manifold possibly, anything else??

If you can remove the 2 blue blanking plates for where the 172/182s have their washer jets (they're bolted on) then I'd happily relive you of them (at the right price). :approve:

Ive PM replied all so far, anyone ive missed out soz..

Fred: ha, well youve not seen my sized jiffy bags!... But, really?.. ive got no idea... I assumed a working Engine + and box at about 600(400+200).. so £250 didnt seem to bad... sorry mate, not trying to do a stitch.. So £100 collected for the engine? what about the box? £150 collected for both?.. I have to weigh things up tho fred as people are wanting certain other parts - and due to my cr@p car knowledge dont know if those are bits of "the engine" that you are expecting.. i.e: throttle body, bits of the loom, inlet mani etc etc...

gotcha - its going in on Saturday and im picking it up the following sat(16th)so will be in touch soon... im moving into my first house end of month (exchanged yesterday! oohh) so just getting the car as close to great nick as poss to sell on and spend the few grand from it on decorating etc... im cutting it fine as it will have to sell within a week or so! highly unlikely comparing it to how the other cups have been selling recently ... you dont know of any couple of hundred £ runabouts going do ya? NO NOVA'S!
