i was just wandeing how can i find out what engine type or number i.e D4F?

is there a particular engine to look out for?

are there any cons and postives of having some type of engines in a clio dynamiques 53 plate?

what the car is may help,
the dynamiques came in mk2 ph2, 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6
then mk3 models too

Whats the bump for? Are you still looking to see what engine you have in your clio? thought it was a 1.2 16v?

If you're still unsure, have a look in your insure docs or V5 it'll tell yiou there.

Engine code is on the the front of the engine block facing towards the radiator. Will be D4F 712 or similar.

What do you mean are they pros and cons are you swopping the engine? If so then make sure the one your getting is similar else you'll end up swopping looms and aux belt stuf if you have air con and the doner engine doens't etc.
