Ive looked at those exausts and they all look smart, still the decision is left to be decided on which one to get.Does an airfilter make any difference when i get my exaust?:S
depends on the airfilter. I've got a sports cat, stealth system and viper on my 1.2 and its much nippier. what type of air filter were you thinking of, closed or open? As for noise the viper gave a nice noise to the exhaust even when it has a standard one.
As for exhausts consider the quality carefully, i assume your from france by your name so not sure what sort u can get over there? Stick with a make with a good reputation, or get a custom one made up by someone like prospeed (a company here in wales) equivelent in france.
I have a pipercross air filter, dont really no what you mean open or closed but it seems quicker with it on,even though my mates think that it makes no difference with it on or not.Ive looked at some 4inc back bokes and they look really good, not to expensive either, but im not sure of how much a custom one would be??No im not from france, because i love french cars somuch my mates have given me the nick name french boy,i added the mk2 when i bought one.
lmao i see, i feel like a knob now a powerflow one would set u back around 250 quid, but u'll have a lifetime waranty with it so well worth it and u can choose what tip u have and what sort of noise it produces. open airfilters are ones like the pipercross vector, closed ones are ones like the pipercross viper
Ahh right i see what you mean now.My pipercross makes alot off noise which i like but my mate thinks that for a 1.2 it makes to much noise, the exaust you suggested sounds really good because you can choose the size and off course the noise, now i can roar round, what fun.
Unless you're gonna kit your car up dont go for anything bigger than a twin 3.5" back box. Ive got a twin 3" and it sits just right.
I recommend looking at different garages to see what kind of exhausts they do. Ive always heard good things about Powerflow as they are totally custom made to your needs including the sound.
Ive got a custom made one from a company called Pipecraft in Essex and the car sounds like a jet engine! Really roars which i wasnt expecting seeing as its just a back box and I havent got an induction kit.
storm, where abouyts in essex u get it for, and are they realtive good and cheap, how you you pay for yours, and how much you reckon it is for a full exhu8ast, if you dont mind me asking?
Theyre based in Basildon and they are top quality. The guys specialise in American muscle cars and have done a few of my mates cars so are recommended. I think its about £200ish for a full system but make sure you tell them that you want stainless steel otherwise theyll use mild.
What dose the twin 3.5 exaust sound like,i was going to get a 4inc exaust only for the fact that i think that it would sound louder but if anyone can put me straight on this please do.
I know what you mean ive seen soem3inc twins around on cars and thay do sound good, but also ive seen some 4inc exausts and they sound so loud, ive looked on the net and i cant find any pics or sites where they do 3inc twins for my car????:SIf you any sites where they do exausts for my car then i would be most gratefull.
