What filler to use on a plastic bumper?

Isopon bumper fill stuff? I'm looking to fill my number plate recess on, admittedly not a clio. But this thread could come in use one day to others.

It'll sink.

To reduce sinking you'll need to plastic weld a piece in place then repair the area around, easy for me, not so for an amatuer but would be a good little project if you had a spare bumper mate.

normal p38 filler was reformulated a few years back and is ok for using on bumpers now mate

Jason, you don't want to fill the number plate recess so to speak, get to the scrap yard, get a second hand bumper moulding and f**k about with the bumper doesn't have a recess.

Just fill the holes in and paint!

On another note aren't the US spec front bumper mouldings different, like the tailgates? (You need one of them ) What i mean is do they have the recess in the trim where the plate sits?

If i get time tomorrow i'l get one of our parts monkeys to have look at Etka for a smooth one!

or to save ya self a lot of hassel put the number plate bk were it was and get some nice german style number plates and borders matey
