Got the roof machine polished and any blemishes nibbed out. Then fitted the roof vent. Screens not coming until Wednesday ? so I'm just going to machine polish the full car seen as Though it's at work

Gave mine and the Mrs cats a wash this morning. She's gone away for a few days with the kids so I'm sat here trying to pluck up the courage to give the DA a go on the car.

Fitted new rear shocks, front lambda sensor and pollen filter. Also re-attached the rear exhaust heatshield and put some new bolts between the manifold and decat. Oh, and I checked the tyre pressures.

Took it for a quick spin out of town and it drives great, without rattling its tits off, so I’m happy with it again.

Got rid of the s**t battery box the previous owner fitted and fitted an OBP one. Wanted it behind the passenger seat but when I looked underneath the petrol tank is butted up to the great seat base so didn't fancy drilling through the tank. Sooo I fit it in front of the seat. Looks neat enough. Tidied up some wires under the dash(Need to get rid of loads but not time at the minute)
Need to order drivers and passengers foot plates next

Needs contrasting calipers IMO - even if they are Black or Anthracite. Wheels look good though man !

So fitted a Fabia front splitter using ally banana rivets and 4 x push button catches to hold front bumper on. Very sold and ment I could lose the crap plastic behind bumper. Neat little job

Yes mate, 60mm diameter hole saw. Lightly sanded the edges afterwards.

No one likes a sloppy hole!

Bc coilovers finally fitted to the mrs meg 250 to replace the knackered cup shocks and springs. This has fought me every step of the way and i was very close to blowing my top but its finally back on its wheels. Not even driven it yet but looks alright will see ?
