£260 down and on checking the invoice, found out the garage had filled it with 5w30! :angry:

No I'm not a huge fan, can never be bothered to remove them, plus I don't want to take them off and the paint underneath to be visibly lighter/newer. Would it polish out if it was?

Mine had the same stickers and they came off and left nothing behind.

Exhausts are Ktec's Janspeed cat back system, but it is de-catted, and I sort of made my own mounts at the rear as dealer ones lasted a few months and didn't want to pay ££ for uprated ones .

Mine are the red polybushes but need adjusting as the left pipes off centre and don't want it burning the trim.

Today I finally had some time to clean my car after buying it at the end of December! I thought I'd concentrate on the interior today and do an outside detail when the days are longer. Hoovered, cleaned and treated the interior with some vinyl care. I also managed to clean some stains out of the seats from the previous owner. I did find some time to jet wash the old girl to get the worst off and the salt! I didn't have time to polish the pedals or the glass though....

Managed to snap the bleed nipple on my front caliper.......not good, managed to get the gear decal fitted and then lacquered to my gear knob...good.

Changed the thermostat on the wife's mk3 Mondeo. It wa stuck open and the car wouldn't heat up. What a fiddly job that was!

Fitted some aeroblade wipers and went for a drive. Shame the roads to Hebden bridge are always gridlocked.

Finally got to round to fitting a pile of parts to the car this weekend:

Cooksport springs
Front Brembo HC discs
Rear OE discs (with bearings)
DS2500 pads front
Brembo pads rear
Replacement headlights
Wind deflectors
Trimmed sun strip

Huge improvement, just need to do the braided hoses and brake fluid and it's ready to track

Fitted roof bars to my Clio, lost original secure bolts so just "borrowed" some M8 ones which did the job :smile:
