Seen 2 black Cupra Rs today. Gorgeous. One tried to race me from the lights, but was very near a speed camera so couldnt oblige . One on the motorway, but was doing 90-100mph, so not really much scope for any racing without kissing goodbye to licence.

Just for the interest of anyone with Tesco insurance the 172 is classed as group 77 and the Cup as group 78. This is one a scale of 15 - 90. Strange system I know!

yup cup is higher than 172 due to it been less safe

All mk2 172s are group 17 asfaik. Mk1 172 is group 16.
