what is a remap

  you may know it, clio?
and it is worth doing to a 1.2?

will it add BHP

would like to know everything :]

  172
optimises the cars fueling and ignition amongst other things and is NOT worth doing to a 1.2 unless you have a bottomless money pit. Save your money bud.

Why's it not worth doing to a 1.2 Russ? Seen 12hp from a map alone on a 1.2 before ;)

so it goes from v v slow to v slow

How much does it cost to achieve this?

No offence but I would save your money and enjoy your car for what it is for now.

Get something quicker next

Paul it seems?? 12bhp from remapping a 1.2?? Didnt Middo spend 1k and get 10bhp, i read on here.

What Paul didnt say was what the car was putting out to start with! I remember someone on here got a 15(ish) bhp gain from having the angelworks inlet manifold thingy done because theres was really bad.

Another guy was running on 3 cylinders and didnt realise so when he had his work done he appeared to get massive gains to.

1, it was not a clio, it was a corsa as i remember

2, the renaultsport range is HARDER to get gains from as they are pushed fairly well from the factory so the margin for gains is smaller, where the non-sport stuff is not a "performance product" so it's easier to get better gains due to the original map been tame!

@black clio. i don't need glasses thanks. Maybe i'll do some before and afters on a 1.2 one day and see what the clio will get :)
