clio or focus rs anyone know what is quicker in a straight line
RS Id think.

just remember folks, renault have got 182 hp out of NA 2.0, as opposed to fords 220odd (tho often more admitidly) from a turbo 2.0. the renaults not bad for what it is

Dont want to have to point out the obvious BUT
Ford could have put it out with 330bhp but how many decent reviews would a front wheel drive Focus get with 330bhp? None!
It has restricted boost in 1st and 2nd as it is!
Its nothing to do with the capabilities of the engine and everything to do with drivability and not getting sued by people killing themselfs.
As for build Ford has always been way ahead of Renault.
My 13 year old Fiesta is built many many times better than my immaculate Williams was.

Focus RS is definately quicker. Depreciation is virtually non existent, stereo system is much better than Renaults etc... If they still made them I would have bought one instead of my 182 back in October. I am waiting for either the new ST version (220 bhp +) or the RS (300bhp+) if they ever decide to make it.
