what is the actual 172 wheels offset...?



  Italian 3.2 V6
i do not know!? and could do with knowing.

is the better the offset the better the ride/handling?

46.8 i think for the standard wheels,

you can go as far as about 37 without too much trouble if the car is lowered.

Most ideal offset to use from experience is et38, ie Cup offsets.

Well worth upgrading to 10mm spacers on the fronts (5mm per side) if your running a 172 on stock rims imo

was meaning for a 172, but was still a bit wrong:eek:

well my car is lowered 30mm, will b putting 16/15" wheels on that will be 7" wide, maby put spacers on to fill up arches. Does this help to narrow down to what offset I need?

Those were ET37 so brought the track out 20mm or so, filled the arches perfectly imo barring it being a bit too high.
