What is the Oil filters thread on a 172 ?

I've been looking at Sandwich plates for fitting a oil temp gauge to my car (2002 172FF)

But on a few websites thay ask for the thread of the Oil Filter, Does anyone know what thread it is ?

Is it a M18 thread ? ?

Or is it an imperial thread ?

As that has been on a few websites saying thats the one for Renault but didin't want to buy one without checkin first.

99% sure its M20, is for the mk1's and i can't see them changing it

Pass, but i've got a 172 oil filter sat in front of me thats got M20x1.5 printed on it. So god knows where M18 came from.
