I presume it's deca-Nm in which case it would be 1/10 of an Nm

Nope, its definatly 10 times a newton meter.
So to convert Nm to DaNm divide by 10!

Its deca newton metres as said same as kg/m just the french like being the french. Just multiply by ten as above.

Yeah that's correct, most of the renault workshop repair manuals are in DaNm, so just multiply by 10 to get Nm
