What is this



the thing at the bottom of the seats in the boot, a long black thing all the way accross? wondering what it is and wether its needed because i want to take it out so i can fit a false floor?

rip it out, i did, never changed a thing

basically there for the luggage net

though some people will claim its structural, its not!!!!

i did and my back end fell apart, caused loads of damage!!

lol, its an isofix bar and also has additional points to strap the luggage net to its not structural so if you dont have babyseats in the back or use the luggage net take it out. But put the bolts back in after you do or youll have a boot full of water,lol.
 


May as well take the back seats out while you there with the spanners, its all just extra weight you dont need
