I have so far -

Changed the indicator bulbs all round, Clear Side indicators, K&N Induction kit, Magnex back box, Sub and Amp. Mescshed Front lower grill and just fitted 17s. Lowering is out of the question as i leave in speed bump hell.

What Next?

Head unit is the fave at the moment or tints.

Need more power but Nos it a bit drastic. May go for a Chip - but are there worth the money.

I thought all 172s needed a chip after a zorst @ IK to get the fueling right ???

Dont seem to have had any problems with mine.

What effect would it have. - it occasionally stalls when crawling on tick over but the mpg is still about the same. (any i put this down to my crap clutch control)

Ive heard/read that most peoples 172 were running lean after putting zorsts and/or IKs on.

Best let a 172 owner answer this one........

Yeah mate you could be f**king up the ol motor there, get the unichip, its reprogrammable.

You can get lots of different types, but this ones from k-tek, £75 inc delivery, VAT and Cliosport discount. Stainless steel so nice and smart, and fits really well. Im sure the car is more secure at the rear now but Id like to get it on a track before I give a final verdict. The Clio (as any hatchback) is just a big floppy box at the rear so anything that holds things together has got to be a help really.

i know you mentioned speed bumps, but you HAVE to lower it.....

if your worried about the height then simply get Eibach springs, they wont lower you too much

chances are you will return to normal ride height due to you now having 17" wheels....

Agree. Just do it Paul! We have plenty of speed bumps in Telford and Ive never hit one yet!

gota agree on the lowerin ive got sh*t loads near me to

i got mine done 35mm at front 30 at back no probs so far and im on standerd 15s just gota go slow over bumps but that stops u fukin the car up in the long run anyway

u can pose then anyway
