What mods to do to 197?

Iv just brought my R27 Clio 197 and im after doing some subtle mods to it but unsure what to do i dont want to change the exhaust just after doin a few things to it.

Remove the C L I O
Silver visions
Mazda 6 Ariel (mine has one)

No i dont wanna decat it dont really wanna change the exhaust unless i can get one which sounds like standard but is performance

No exhaust these days will give you a decent gain imo, they certainly never have on any RS Clio. Leave alone imo, they are decent enough out the box. Filters/remap fine, other than that engine wise seems to open a can of worms.......

How about handling wise i want it sitting lower but dont want it bumpy or crashy still want it how it is nice and smooth etc and without spending loads of money

cup spoiler, silvervisions, 6k xenon bulbs, itg filter and remap. job done.

IMO the K-tec spoiler looks quite nice and would be a worthwhile mod. Silvervisions are the easiest thing to replace in the world and make a real difference to the front end. CLIO badge removal too is recommended - mine has to stay at the mo as the previous owner tried taking it off and has slightly chipped the paint behind; either that or someone tried thieving it! There's not a lot else to really do to a 197 I don't think. Jase from clio197.net has an awesome Albi one, maybe you'll get some ideas off there too.

My old 197. Had a remap, ITG panel filter and Eibach lowering springs. handling was much better and the remap gave it a little poke.

I think im going to get Cup spoiler, Xenons, silvervisions, itg panel filter and remap it then that will be it im going to leave the CLIO badge on the back

Ok... here's mine...

- ECU re-map
- C L I O removed
- TCE spoiler
- Lowered on H&R springs
- Wheels re-furbed in black
- ITG panel filter
- Brembos painted red
- Cornering headlights (not shown)
- Silvervisions

Also, try removing your airbox cover... sounds sweet without it!

H&R's lower it by 40mm iirc

Ride is stiffer but still good, handling is improved too!
