What Oil?

If you do not know what is in there 10w-40 semi or 5w-40 fully to top up with.

Any well known brand will do.

I was just taking the advice given. Im not doing a complete change just a top up.

Do you think i should put the 5w-40?

If what is in there is not known, then 10w-40 semi is fine, no point mixing an expensive oil if what is in there is mineral base.

Next oil change find out whats being used so you can top up with that, or better still provide the oil yourself. 5w-40 would be ideal.

Cheers

Guy.
