What program to ope an .xls file?

Got sent something from work, cant open it. Anyoneknow what program to use? Can i download something?

MS Excel. Open office might open it too.

Yep - OpenOffice will allow you to open it.... but it's taking an age to open up their site....

If you still have no luck, try notepad. Change the file extension type to .txt then it'll open in notepad.

Might not be very east to read though, but it's an option.
