What shall I clean on my Valver Engine

Hello Everyone!

Whilst my valver engine is out of the car, was just wondering what I should clean on it?

I am going to degrease the block etc with gunk, but what else shal I clean? and what should I use?

What should I use on the Inlet manifold and Rocker cover thing?

IF its all apart just get it chemically cleaned or vapour blasted.

It is all intact, so I was thinking about the exterior bits?

some oily gunk on the engine can help protect it

yeah, I guess. but now its out I wanna do something to it before I put it back in!

and If I paint the block after Ive cleaned it, this would give better protection than just some gunky stuff wouldnt it?
