about to be put in my name, got a quote of nearly 2k for my 1.2! yet on a 2litre bora i can get insured for 1.3k! thinking of selling up realy

i was insured before i had a full licence? im not sure if it the no claims start from when i pass or from when im insured, and im not sure im a anmed driver on the car, but im the only one who uses it

I had insurance in my name before i passed so thats okay.

As for being a named driver you cannot get the No Claims Bonus earnt on that policy.

So you could not have used it anyway.

The policy must be in your name for you to earn it.


Shop around, give companies calls. I normally sit down and phone about in a weekday and see who offers me the best. Narrows it down. The play off each company to see who wins the cheapest
