What Should I Spend £400 On

Ive just picked up my 04 plate 1.4 16v clio today, ive got £400 to spend on it.

Any ideas on what to spend it on, im looking for some sound (engine not ICE) and power or some styling. Anything really!

Thinking about the small oval system actually, what do they sound like?

Do you reckon theyd sound nicer/louder on a 1.4 than a 1.2?

How much do you reckon id be looking at for fitting?

Whatever happens, dont put a big exhaust on as your first mod! If it was me, Id spend it on an MP3 player and some decent speakers.

If i put an ehaust on it will be a subtle one like the k-ec oval.

It wont be the first mod anyway, it will (hopefully) have 17"s and it has lexus lights.

Already have an mp3 player and jbl door speakers!

And its already colour coded, not bad seeing as ive had it for 6 hours!!

Get some lowering springs/ suspension kit

Go for a long drive round/ driving holiday

Get it invested in an ISA before this yrs tax deadline <-- Cannot belive I just said that.

yea, same.. have to have a decent HU.

Yeah, first mod i did was an exhaust and it looked a bit gay. Id start off with lowering it or colour coding, especially important on non-black cars i think!

Id be quite interested for that in my 1.4 16V, what are the power gains like for the smaller engine cars? Is it worth it?
