What size are ball joint bolts ?

I am planning on replacing the two lower ball joints on my Ph2.

Before i attempt to remove bolts and possibly snap them (even though they will be soaked in WD40)i was wandering if anyone knows what size the bolts are so i have spares ready and the car aint of the road.

And is the top bolt (One with blue dot on stolen ball joint pic below) threaded all the way down its shank/shaft ?

When I was looking at buying a pair from ECP, they had two sizes listed for the Clio 172. It was either M12 or M10 sized holes. Not sure if that's for the holes that allow the ball joint to be bolted to the lower arm or the bolt you're talking about.

When I purchased new ball joints, came with new bolts etc.

Got all my bolts from Grampian fasteners in dyce d1cky.

Pinch bolt is M10 which isn't threaded it's full length.

Bottom bolts are M12 (I think), they're bigger than the M10 anyway.

Mine came with all three bolts

For any one in the future these are M10 X 55 10.9 half thread bolts. Just got a pair with nuts for £5 from my local fastener shop.
