what size spacers do people run?

Interested in handling only, so not spacers fitted for brake clearance, looks etc.

Ph1 F1s are et 43 while the ph2 cup ran et35, so an 8mm spacer seems a good starting point, but many seem to go wider, to 16, 20 or 25mm.

What have people found handles best, I'm happy to widen the track but I don't want it to destroy steering feel!

Personally I wouldn't run spacers unless needed to for brake clearance, what wheels are you running?
