as above what size swan neck spanner is needed for the top mounts?

Adam I can go out right now and check what size it is and if it fits? Alternately, you could drive the 15 minutes here and pick it up off me, no problems?? Lazy git!

it's 21mm sod using a spanner though. Deep socket and keep the car on the ground until it's undone

With hand tools though you often need to get something onto the top of the shock screw, which is either normally a small spanner of a allen key, having the swan neck allows you to access this.
