What spacers do I need?

  BMW 320ci
I know there's alot of threads about spacers but I'm really confused at what one's I need.

Had my v-maxx coilies fitted about a month ago and they've been fine, took the car in to get the tracking done and the garage noticed a problem. The inside of the front tyres are rubbing against the adjuster/shock due to a positive camber (obviously it should be a negative camber but the wheels wouldn't turn) and the 40 offset doesn't help.

Just need to know what spacers I need to sort this out, I was thinking of getting the FK 30mm A Centric spacers (the £48.88 one's)?

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance.

Ok, step one.

Go measure the gap from your tyre wall to the inside of the arch. This is the size spacer you need.

Where its rubbing on the shock you should only need a 5mm spacer to actaully clear the shock.

5mm = Non-Hubcentric

13mm+ = Hubcentric

20mm+ = Hubcentric that bolts to the hub.

Remember to consider a bit of room so you don't rub the arch too :)
If your clearance is 30mm from the tyre to the inside of the arch - I'd get a maximum 25mm spacer

13mm+ = Hubcentric (type A, longer bolts)

20mm+ = Hubcentric that bolts to the hub (type B)

Cheers for all that.

I'm thinking of getting 5mm so I get rid of the rubbing. Just wanted to know will 5mm allow me to get more of a negative camber aswell? Currently the camber on the left is 0º19 and on the right it is 0º24 (see pic below).

Getting 15mm as I've been told this will help sort the camber aswell.

Should I go with FK or Delta Mics? And where can I order a good set of longer bolts?
