What suspension for my 172ff

Car  Clio 172
Hi guys. New to the RS scene. Just bought a 172 ff but want to improve handling. Should i get a second hand 'cup' suspension or an aftermarket kit? I wanted 172ff with cup pack but couldnt find a decent one so purchased a non cup! Thanks for advice. Loz

You struggled to get a cup packed 172 because they don't exist I'm afraid unless you mean 182? FYI 172 cup shocks are a straight fit on to a 172.

Stay standard, it really is a good set up, add eibach camber bolts and you won't be far off coilovered cars on track.

Thanks. So is it just as well to leave the existing suspension on the car then? I drove a 182 with both cup packs...handled better, felt more planted on cornering than my 172ff, thats why i want to change the suspension on my 172.

If I was you I would fit 172 cup shocks, Eibach sportline springs and Eibach camber bolts and get it set up professionally.

If the shocks are in good condition/been changed recently then a decent set of lowering springs will be an improvement

If they are leaking etc, then do this

The Cooksport springs are getting good feedback on here aswel
