What to do to freshen up the 182?

Hey guys, I'd like to freshen up the 182's under carrage if you like, dog bone mounts etc? It's not something I've done before but after having solid KTR mounts on my last 182 it did feel better. All I've ever done to my cars is coilovers, camber bolts & spacers!

I've got Cooksport springs secured. Just pondering what else to do?

Idea's people, won't be happening for a while as my first job is the cambelt & aux etc , most importantly!

Cheers. Don't want to chuck money at her either, I'm tight now

Depends what needs replacing on your specific car.

But in terms of getting them to drive nicely, the key thing is no play in the steering so:
Rack itself
Track rods
Track rod ends
Rack bushes
Wishbone bushes
Suspension top mounts

Replace any of those which show the slightest hint of wear, and get the tracking done properly.

I'm tight

Well thats great news, but your cars bushes need to be as tight as your own one apparently is.

You'd be better buying from adam at renault wolverhampton as all the bits are standard and you will get charged Ktax on them otherwise.

The only thing you can really upgrade rather than just replace with new in that area is the rack bushes themselves, powerflex do a set (technically pure do solid wishbone mounts etc too but you dont want that on a road car), not sure how good they are though as not used them personally, if you want some I have a set you can have as I bought them for les's car but then decided to fit Epas instead which has a solid mounted rack so no bushes needed.
