What tyres for my 1.2 16v?

Going to replace all 4 tyres, in a few days I hope. I'm not sure where to start, there are so many brands and variations! At the moment i have; 185/55's Firestones. I'm just going to take it to my local tyre place (family friend). Should I just ask replace with the same ones, as they seem good to me??

get 195/50/15 tyres and go for toyo t1r's as they are awesome and the different size 195/50 tyre is cheaper as they r more common.

Im slower than ketchup so dont think I'll need the toyo's performance, dont they wear easy? im a poor student
