What tyres should i go for?....

Hi need some help, got a 172 cup and the two fronts are getting low. The car is currently on the renault factory default brand running 195/45/16. What brand of tyre are people going for nowadays - whats recommended.....

Needs to be a good all round tyre in the wet and dry and hard wearing.

never tried them, but these are also popular. Try getting in a car with the different tyres on and see how well it handles.

Sorry for the silly question, why are 205's better than 195's? I am trying to decide which one to get as well.

I've just found them preferable to to the 195s on my 172 and a few others have swapped over to 205s on cups and 172s and found them better.
