what upgrade(s) for a ph2 1.4 16v?!

Hi all, will be getting my summer job back in a few weeks and look forward to spending some cash on my car, probs around the 200 mark.

So far i've a green panel filter and a couple amps with comps and a sub.

Whats the most worthwile or value for money upgrade? Im thinking pads and braided hoses or exhaust?

Sell the sub and amp. Get the car lowered on either springs or coilovers depending on budget, you'll notice the difference more than other mods.

Brake upgrades are a waste of time, the brakes are rated to 150bhp and are more than adiquate for road use anyway.

Exhaust is also a bit of a waste of time on a non sport model imo.

I've heard that just springs can ruin your shocks? Whats the view on that?

What are the best/most affordable coilovers, ive heard good things about sportlines?

My best options would be colour code and coilovers... but then that's pretty much all I did with mine
