what wheels?

  182
want to replace my OZ wheels cause there is too much space between spokes and can see the horrible state of my rusty brakes lol!

Think the car is on standard suspension so not lowered and was wondering what size wheels would look best,
i have spotted some speedline silver turinis 16 but wants £285 with centre caps!

car is black clio 182 ff

any suggestions

not sure on standard, would anthracite wheels look odd on a black car?

normally i would go for standard but they look a little plain, however if a good price for some black ones i could be tempted
Standard ones are anthracite if you've got that cup pack. Standard ones are 16's.

Id probably just wire brush the rust off then clean up the brakes and paint them with brake caliper paint/hammerite? If you like the wheels that is :)

300 for a set of turinis without tyres in good condition with caps is fair price imo

Is it difficult to take caliper off or just paint straight on and just take wheel off? Also as wheel bots and hubs are rusty could I also paint hammeright them too?
Sounds like the right idea, then maybe try clean and refurb the wheels a bit until I spot some good value standard wheels

Planning to finally do my calipers tonight unless its hammering with rain! Normally you just take off the wheel and paint it on the caliper carefully with a brush using Hammerite, but make sure you don't use too many strokes or be too perfectionist with it, I find if you coat it on not too thick but try not to touch it much when its on, it'll often dry quite smooth. You could hammerite the hubs too I assume, not too sure about the wheel bolts, obviously not in the thread but maybe the heads? Heard you're meant to grease the hubs slightly on the face to avoid the wheels getting stuck if you ever take them off again?

good advice will do the same this weekend if i get chance

If you use Hammerite, get the smooth one. Be sure to give them two maybe three coats. You can do the heads of the bolts too, but I wouldn't go near the threads.
