whats a log manifold??

hi, i bought a turbo kit the other day but need to buy a new downpipe and link pipe for my 182, i contacted engine dynamics and asked if thers would fit my turbo and they said its compatible but depends what manifold im using, when i bought the kit it said "log manifold" is this all i need to tell them? cheers

There is a couple of variants of the "log manifold". Just take a load of pictures and email it to them.

You could also measure the distance between the turbo flange and the head flange, then measure the distance between one of the turbo mounting holes and one of the holes on the head, and show them pictures of where you have measured, then they can definitively know where your turbo is located.
