What's difference between these tyres?

Both Michelin PE2's:

195/45 R16 80V

195/45 R16 84V

What do the differing 'V' numbers mean? :S

84V is slightly more expensive.

They are both available from My Tyres

It's the load index. You need to look it up on a table, but it is how much load you can put on the tyre. '80' is 450kg, '84' is 500kg.
Both are fine for a Clio.

The letter is the speed rating. 'V' is 149mph.

^^ yep, the 84v has a reinforced side wall so can handle more weight.

Dont know what benifits this would have on a clio, better handling due to less play in the side wall?
