I'd go for a Mk2 peronally even with the extra possible problem with the more complex electrics as its a better car. However unless your going to drive it to the limit the Mk1 is a great car just for me the mk2 wou;ld be the way to go as i drive the car to the limit and the Mk1 would bite me and I'd crash.

So what could i do cause i cant sell the car to someone if its got finance on it.Is the only way to px with the dealer???? ( looking at a mk1 v6 due to being in my price range)

Its easy....

You advertise it privately, then when you've got someone interested in buying the car, they pay whatever's left on the finance (as long as theres still equity in the car) and the remainder to you.....simple

I'd offer to do a P/X against my V6 but I'm not keen on Racing Blue, sorry.

Depends on year, i know of a 55plater 4k, guy was offered 8.5 against a meggy!
