whats my PC worth?

  Focus ST-3
Im looking to upgrade my PC as I do a fair bit of music production and need something with a bit more kick.

Can anyone tell me what my current PC is worth?

It is;

HP Compaq DX2250 Microtower
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.60 GHz
2.00 GB RAM
Vista Home Basic 32-bit

I know it wont be worth a lot but any help would give me an idea of what to ask for it.

Thanks

best thing to do with old pc's is to keep them as media/file servers

Thought thats what it would be worth, not a lot!!!
Can anyone suggest a spec for me? I dont play any pc games at all so would just need on board graphics (would put my current graphics card in to give me dual display) and would also have my TI chipset FireWire card for my audio interfaces. So can anyone suggest a good enough spec machine for what I need?

Thanks for that. Do you think upgrading to the components you have suggested will give me a noticeable difference? Or would I be better off just chucking a bit more cash at it and getting something a bit better that I wont need to upgrade for X amount of years?

If have found this spec online, what do you think of that? and is it a fair price?

Computer Case : 1 x Cooler Master Elite 430 - (Black) Window
CPU : 1 x Intel Core i5 2500 (4 x 3.3GHz) 6MB
CPU Heatsink : 1 x Intel Heatsink & Fan - Low Noise
Memory : 1 x 8 GB 1333 MHZ (2x4GB) - (DDR3)
Graphics Card : 1 x None or Motherboard Integrated Graphics (would use existing graphics card)
Motherboard : 1 x Asus P8P67 LE (Intel P67) - B3
Sound Card : 1 x Motherboard Integrated HD Sound (use external audio interfaces anyway)
Networking : 1 x Motherboard Integrated Ethernet Lan (Broadband Ready)
Power Supply : 1 x 350W PSU
Hard Drive #1 : 1 x 250 GB SATA-II HDD 7200 RPM 8MB
Optical Drive #1 : 1 x Samsung 24x DVD Re-Writer/Reader /- RW- Black - Lightscribe (SATA)

That is £475, is that reasonable? or would you recommend buying components individually? if so how much would i realisticly save doing so?

Cheers
