Whats the colour of choice

Hey guys,

Just wondering what colour 182 youd plump for?

The Arctic blue is quite impressive, and the guy at Renault claimed it was a pearlescent colour, meaning it changes colour in the light.

However, from the post regarding the 182 test drive, the black demo car which was used was pretty damn impressive. Very sleek and tidy looking, especially in this pic below. Looks like a silent but deadly night creeper!

The Racing blue seems to be more of a block colour, much like the Fiat Coupe breeze block blue, and a lot of people seem to be wanting the yellow, which seems to cost a lot more.

What do you guys think?

I always wanted a 172 in Iceberg Silver, so when it come to ordering my 182 I was just going to go for the Silver, but Im not sure what the anthracite wheels will look like on it?

I went for the Arctic blue in the end, the only picture I had seen was in Evo mag and I thought it looked nice. Ive now seen one in the flesh and Im well chuffed! The wheels go really nicely.

The other colours look ace too, Im interested to see what the Racing Blue (non metallic) is like...

Trail, is the picture in Evo mag the arctic blue colour? It doesnt look quite the same as the pic I put up above. The one in Evo is quality. Its a choice between the arctic blue (if indeed that is the Evo colour) or the black gold. Could be one of the most important choices ever!

Yeah its Arctic Blue in Evo, altho it appears they have played around with the lighting because the colour looks a bit lighter in real life. Basically, the Arctic blue looks very similar to the Cup blue, which for me is a good thing ;-)

I like the Black Gold, looks very tidy but I am far too lazy to keep a black car looking clean enough...

Decisions! Decisions! I was exactly the same mate ;-)

i was different and went for the least common colour, racing blue, its the only colour not to be seen so far!

black gold, like our Vee, or yellow like my old 172 (even though it isnt the same yellow - I actually think the option yellow is better) but is it definitely the lovely metallic one that is an option in the UK?

The Arctic Blue is very similar to the Mondial Blue of the Cup!

Well that was one of the reasons I liked it Rich. I love the Cup colour and wasnt happy that the standard 172 didnt come in that colour. Thanks everyone. I think the Arctic blue is the colour Ill go for.

I agree Mitsi, but that picture clearly does the car justice. There are other pics and it doesnt look quite so hot. I think Ill opt for the Arctic Blue anyway, but that black one does look awesome. Ahh damn!!

The anthracite wheels look fantastic on the silver, the one I test drove had them on
