whats the difference between these two tyres?

It is to do with the speed rating and possibly load index.
V tyres are rated to 150 mph.
W is a higher speed rating and probably load rating.
Renaultsport Clios are fine with a V rating. I believe that is what they are all fitted with from Renault.

You can use a higher speed rating, i.e. a W-rated tyre on a Clio. If so, should be as a pair per axle at least but ideally on all four corners.
