Whats the difference???

im looking to put a dump valve on a r5 turbo and want it to be LOUD! what do people recommend?
and what are the things that make the flutter sound instead of the woooosh?

the 'things' that flutter is the compressor surge/stalling.

A dump valve cant be loud if the boost pressure isnt high. why not do what every chav who gets one does? whack the boost up then wonder why it goes bang.

If you adjust the boost, adjust fueling and timing with it.

when i said what makes the flutter noise i meant like on other cars instead of a dump valve, its like a flutter valver...?

no such thing.

the flutter is when there is no dv fitted. so the boost builds up against the throttle butterfly and stalls the turbo.
