whats the mpg on the 182 trophy?

  Punto Evo Abarth
hello seen a 182 trophy for sale and my dad likes it, im trying to convince my mum to get it! lol so if anyone could tell me the mpg i'd be greatly apreciated. thanks.

  Clio 172 mk2
Varies but I have had 45mpg out of my 172 on the motorway.

Not too bad economy wise for a performance car.....just depends how heavy your right foot is.

So your letting your mum buy a 182 whilst you have a lower spec clio, and i guess you wont swap the cars and you have the 182, but secretly leave it in her name, her insurance etc whilst you drive it about..

I think im still right............ :)

Think the lowest ive seen is about 26mpg, highest about 40mph doing a constant 60mph..

Usual about 32-34mpg sitting on motorway @80. Drop that onto a windy A/B road then its down to 28mpg.. and even less 100mph +

  Golf R
38-40mpg with criuse control on a motorway run, but day-today i'm getting about 33mpg; my run into work is mainly a road with a couple of dual carriageways, but nothing where you can really stretch your legs

Hi Perch, good for you, persuading the old lady to get the Trophy, the official combined cycle mpg figure for the Trophy is about 36 mpg, so this is what you should tell your mum, but I rarely see over 30mpg these days, in fact the last tank that didn't see any motorway miles averaged 26 on the computer! If you are careful and drive in fifth gear and don't enjoy the car at all you can approach 40mpg, unless you're under 30 years old, in which case it's a physical impossibility. Good Luck!

My 182 averages 28, best is 30, and worst 23 when having to make a long trip home in a short period of time
