whats the remedy for bird shat?

hi,

i've had lots of birds crap on my car before (but thankfully not too many on me), so when one landed on my bonnet the other day i did the unspeakable and left it on there for about a week.

just went to wax my car after washing it, and noticed its done a bit of acid corrosion on the bonnet, its dulled the paintwork in a circular blob area .

I waxed over it and its still there - does anyone know how i can get rid of this, i am reluctant to use t-cut on a car less than 9 months old. Or is it there forever?

Wetsanding can help remove it 300 grit should do the trick then a good polish and wax after words

just dont do what the wee guy in one of the claims i got the now did.

take a brillo pad to it

Try a decent polish before having to wetsand. Meguiars Scratch X may sort it.
