I think this has been debated somewhere, but I can't find it :-\

sounds like someones dropped a nut/bolt insidethe cage or something

its been a while since i've been in one

If I didnt know better ,its the bracket on the fire ex or the safety pin,its usually got a ring like a keyring through it and sometimes have a date tag attached
