Shoulders on both of my front tyres have turned a nice deep blue colour.
Clio 16v 'YOJ'
Heres my list:
leaky sunroof/aerial
front bumper needs replacing
rear bumper needs replacing
sills rotten
rear arches rotten
interior ripped
oil pressure guage doesnt work
respray needed
wheel refurb needed
only getting 20mpg
o2 sensor dead (rstuner says so anyway)
can smell of fuel occasionally
rear tailgate rotten
rear arches dented
drivers door doesnt always shut properly
drivers rippled where some bafoon has punched it
drivers front wheel has a slow air leak
coilovers desperatly need replacing or refurbing
cat hangs too low needs pancake type 172 cat with second lambda boss welded in
bonnet doesnt line up 100% since the crash
Key doesnt work in boot lock
I think thats it for now???

Xenons are cloudy - have tried to polish them with a 3m kit and no improvment. Previous owner obviously took the whole unit apart and re-sealed it with silicon, they're seemingly beyond repair.
Central locking stopped working recently - I can't lock my boot!
Front bumper is covered in stonechips, needs a respray.
Rip on drivers seat and rip in carpet next to centre console.
Some **** keyed the side of my car recently, down to bare metal on two panels!!!
Lots of light scratches/spiderweb marks from poor washing technique by previous owners (needs a mop all over!)
Will require cambelt/auxbelt service in the next 6 months

Tim,
I'll give you a shout later on this. I know the belt change is now out of warranty being over 12 months but if its my doing/failing I'll try to help out with this. Really need to see what's occurred though so don't go unbolting stuff just yet. Anyone been doing anything work wise recently?

I *try* to please Ryan and its not very often that I loose an engine as an actual fault of mine or the parts I fit but i'm only human and if wee play the odds it's bound to happen eventually. In the last 10 years I've actually only lost one to date and that was down to changing the top covers between engines which just caught the exhaust cam... never again. This one I need to see to comment though.

Spoke to Tim about it just after 9 this morning and from what he said it sounds like its over-revved
He's going to sit on it for a while because it needs tax and MOT but I think we'll just end up helping him fit a replacement engine when he's ready.

Yeah me to but I take every engine build personally so like to know what happens to them after they leave me.
He said he went for 3rd and not sure if he missed it or got it but the revs went sky high so clutched it and turned off when he stopped. Went to restart and nothing so I'm guessing it dragged the crank round similar to how Corkys did at Bedford and just clipped the valves.

The fact it needs Cambelt, aux belt and possibly dephaser changing within the next month or 2...
PAS pump whines like a ***** so needs changing,
Clutch release bearing is on way out - so that will all need doing in the future,
Front bumper could do with the crack being repaired (although not a major job)
Slightest of whines in 5th gear, aswell as an annoying squeak when going from 4th - 5th.
Fact the headlights need polishing up,
All the little irritating noises it makes in general!!!
Hate it at times, but when I get into it and drive it, I think it's absolutely superb!
(PS, I live in Guildford and if anybody can recommend a place to get the Cambelt etc done, please share! Have only gotten 1 quote ATM from a specialist)

slowly losing oil but no leakage (?)
2 new seat belt pretensioners - caused by half shaft pretty much exploding and taking my Diff out with it (pants were shat)
Emissions light - this came on a year after fitting decat so probably a failed lambda sensor I guess

Cheers for ringing me yesterday Mick, probably gonna be the new year till its ready for a new engine I've gotta move house in December so I'[ll keep it at my dads under cover till then then get it down to you. Gonna be my best course of action I think. Give you a bell soon about it buddy.
