Wheel Bearing

Car is going in tommorow for an MOT and some other work. Currently getting a droning sound from the front nearside wheel, pretty sure its the wheel bearing. How much can I expect to be stung for this? and what problems could it cause if I wasnt to get the work done - bearing in mind its been making that sound for about 6 months now and been on countless 500 mile round trips!

Pretty sure I also need new pads. Again how much to expect?

Well actually could be alot more. If the wheel bearing has been spinning on the drive flange you will need a new one of those too. They dont come cheap. This is why wheel bearings should be replaced as soon as possible.

They will be able to tell you if the drive flange has worn or not upon removing the wheel bearing.
So good luck
