Wheel bearings

MM when driving along doing any speed over about 20 mph i get a drone/whine noise. I jacked the car up and rocked the wheel about and it doesnt appear to be the wheel bearings, but its getting louder. Any ideas? b**ch of a job to change them??

Also any ideas what fixes that 4k rattle!!

4K rattle = new exhaust

which bearings? front or rear?? rear tend to go every 30K

Im assuming it must be the rears then!

Fred - is it a DIY job, i can press them out at work etc, but dont want to start it one day and realise i need a whole book of parts for it.

Yeh new exhaust will be on the cards before long when i can afford it, along with them koni springs - any luck with them??

rear bearing we've got in stock, but PLEASE measure your rear disc thickness (use a micrometer, 7mm is the min)

afterall there's no point changing your rear bearings if your discs are knackered aswell

Apex ones then ha ha! Its been a long 3 weeks!

Right il measure the discs up, they were new all round 6k miles ago so im hoping there still pretty good!
