Wheel Bolts

if you could see some of the horrific things steel wheel bolts or bolts with incorrect shoulder, does to alloys you wouldnt even be considering it. scary stuff!

as above mate, NO! the steel will slowly work its way through the alloy causing your wheel to fall off! not good!!

I used bog standard bolts on my old Clio when I fitted aftermarket alloys.

Always hand tightened as tight as I could pretty much.

Never experienced any chewing of the alloys.

And certainly no wheel ever fell off.

The bolts are the same mate for 1.2 or 172, I bought the ones for alloys from my Dealer, think it was quite expensive tho! lol! (£4 per bolt iirc) :o
